Sustainability

We are fully committed to adopting sustainability principles into every aspect of our business operations.

We acknowledge that sustainability has economic, environmental, and social aspects and adopt this holistic approach in our design, procurement, construction and day-to-day business activities. 

Our work several years ago on sustainable timber was ground-breaking for the contracting industry and we are continuing this trend with our approaches to new issues. These include:

• Developing a comprehensive guide to the Code for Sustainable Homes to ensure our customers and project teams have the most up-to-date knowledge

• Cultivating relationships with leading renewable energy suppliers to ensure we can benefit from preferred customer arrangements

• Deploying education and tenant liaison officers onto our projects with the primary objective of enhancing our engagement with local schools and communities

These activities have enabled us to build a directory of over 150 sustainable projects. We continue to build this experience, along with a culture which makes sustainability a common objective shared with our employees, customers, supply team, and the communities in which we operate.
