Mansell wins Teddington ProCure21 Contract
Following the appointment of Balfour Beatty ProCure21 to deliver the Teddington Health & Social Care Centre for Richmond and Twickenham Primary Care Trust, Mansell has been awarded a contract worth approximately £2.75 million for the construction work.
Work on site is likely to begin in the second quarter of 2008 and last between 40 to 45 weeks.
The building will be of modular design, constructed in a single phase offering benefits with regard to timescale, usage and limiting disruption.
The final design proposals will reflect Mansell’s careful consideration of sustainability and environmental issues.
Lesley McLennan-Yeo, Director of Estates at Richmond and Twickenham PCT said: “We look forward to working with Mansell on the development of the new Health and Social Care Centre. The modular design means that disruption to our staff and clients will be kept to a minimum and we are confident that the new building will prove an invaluable facility for providing high quality health and social care services to our population.”
Keith Hayes, PSCP Lead at Balfour Beatty ProCure21 said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this contract as part of our continuing work for ProCure21 and we look forward to working with the PCT to create a sustainable building that meets the ongoing needs of the community”.
Mansell, as a member of the Balfour Beatty team, is a Primary Supply Chain Member for ProCure21 and currently working on several ProCure21 contracts.
