Mansell Raises £10,000 for Charity with West Highland Way Walk

Walkers from Mansell Construction Services took on the challenge of the West Highland Way and raised over £10,000 for charity.

75 members of staff, friends and family from Mansell’s Central Scotland Region successfully completed the challenge and walked 580 miles between them.

The challenge was split into a number of routes varying from five to 15 miles and was completed by walkers ranging in age from five to 69.

The money raised was split equally between Cancer Research UK and CHAS Robin House on the banks of Loch Lomond. Cheques were presented to Gary Kernahan, Area Manager of Cancer Research UK and Carol Darcie a volunteer of CHAS Robin House by Mansell’s Frank Dick.

Frank Dick, Mansell Regional Director - Central Scotland, said: “It was a great opportunity to bring everyone together to have some fun, get fit and raise money for good causes at the same time”.
