Mansell Secures Major Contract For New Halliburton Offices

Leading UK construction company Mansell has been awarded a major contract to construct new offices and a workshop for Halliburton, in Aberdeen.

Mansell has been appointed to carry out the work for the oilfield technologies and services company at the Kirkhill Industrial Estate site.

The project will involve the construction of a multi-level office block and state-of-the-art workshop, which will include gantry cranes running the length of the building and three, 30ft deep shafts – in which Halliburton’s innovative new test cells will be located.

The contract is worth more than £14 million and with work having recently commenced on the project, the new buildings are expected to be ready for occupation in late summer 2008.

Doug Duncan, Mansell’s business development manager, said: “We are delighted to have secured this contract and thrilled to have this opportunity to work with Halliburton.   “With our past experience and expertise I am confident we will deliver an outstanding building which the Halliburton team can enjoy for many years to come.”
