Celebrating handover of 1000th refurbished home in Solihull

Mansell Hands Over 1000th Solihull Home

Mansell has handed over the 1000th home in a major £115 million house improvement programme in Solihull.

Mansell’s Stourbridge-based Western Region is carrying out the work on behalf of Solihull Community Housing.

The contract is aimed at bringing more than 3000 tenants’ homes to a decent standard, including new central heating systems, kitchens, bathrooms and electrical wiring.  

The 1000th house to be completed is that of tenants  Mr and Mrs Anderton.  They said they were delighted with the work carried out by Mansell.  

Solihull Community Housing is Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council’s arms length management organisation which looks after the council’s housing service and is responsible for day to day management, including repairs, rent collection, resident participation and housing advice.  

Mr and Mrs Anderton were presented with a hamper from Mansell to mark the handover of their refurbished home.
