Walker Riverside trainees

Working from home

As part of Mansell’s ongoing commitment to enhance communities living in and around our developments, two school-leavers residing within the Walker Riverside Regeneration project have been provided with apprenticeships by our North East Team.

Dean Richardson and Jordan Brydon, both 17, are thrilled to be working with Mansell to develop the new River’s Gate site – a new development with Places for People to construct 107 new homes on their own doorstep in Walker, Newcastle.

Both are very pleased with their new positions, with Jordan commenting “I am absolutely delighted to get this opportunity. Being a local lad, locally trained and now working on this site is a huge step and I would like to thank everyone who has helped me so far.”

Mike Steele, Director of Operations, is happy to see the Mansell ethos of ‘constructing communities’ in action for this project, saying “Dean and Jordan are typical of the people on whom the future of the construction industry depends, and so we wish them every success as they go through their apprenticeships and on into their careers with us.”
