Enhancing the landscape

Berkhamsted Collegiate College has closed its doors on the autumn term, its first since Mansell created its new £4.5 million Design Centre.

The Enfield team have enhanced the college with new arts, photography and food technology facilities, along with a 200-seat dining room and commercial kitchen.

Great relationships were central to the project’s success and due to the college’s location in a conservation area, regular liaison with the Environment Agency meant that this attractive establishment on the River Bulbourne remained in-keeping with the local landscape.
