Mansell has been awarded a £2.58 million affordable housing contract in Brighton by Affinity Sutton.

Pioneer House in Burstead Close will be a five-storey development comprising a mixture of homes including: two three-bedroom, 13 two-bedroom and seven one-bedroom apartments as well as two one and two-bedroom homes for people with physical disabilities. The new homes which have been designed to achieve Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes will be constructed using a structural steel frame and will incorporate photovoltaic panels, brown roofs and living green walls.

This contract is the second to be awarded to Mansell Partnership Housing South West by Affinity Sutton, having completed a housing scheme at Forest Road, Midhurst in 2008.
