Mansell's London Major Works team raise £10,000 for charity

July 01, 2010

Kevin Massey, John Horgan, Neil Oakes, Leo Pellegrini, Chris Abbott and Ray Sweeney (pictured) swapped their hard hats for cycle helmets to undertake a charity cycle from London to Paris.

Mansell colleagues sponsored their heroic efforts to raise £10,000 for Europe’s leading cancer centre at the Royal Marsden Hospital.

With over 300 miles of stunning scenery before them and one of the world’s most beautiful cities awaiting their arrival, the intrepid riders hit the road on day one with a staggering 80 miles ahead of them.

With high hopes they carried on going and finally finished the four-day cycling challenge, each completing 325 miles.
